More Fake Wii Images Gather Attention
Here's the latest leaked 'thing' to land in our in-boxes today. It comes from a secret source very close to the Wii development process (as usual) with a gmail account and, we can only assume, far, far too much spare time on his hands.

The image claims to be leaked promotional material for the Nintendo Wii's Virtual Console. Which we very much doubt it is. The sad fact is that in today's videogame industry, every company involved in the process would have to consult seventeen IP consultants and 12 lawyers each to negotiate placement, artists, character associations and so on.

The chances of all the companies with represented property just signing this off, and it then being the only leaked document of what can only assume is a marketing pamphlet, seem slim at best.

Quite a nice piece by the artist either way and a clear front-runner in our non-existent Rubbish Fake of the Week competition.

How big is your desktop? Mine's 2560 x 1600 (or 1920 x 1200 on my small computer).

But if yours is, say... 1024 x 768 - maybe this will help???

It's not a fake, per se, other than a third party has slapped the Wii logo on the image. The original sketches for this piece were posted on the 4 Colour Rebellion forums; it was originally hoped to have the finished item submitted, for a retro gaming inspired art exhibition and book.
