In Brief: Street Fighter II Patch
Time out and other issues resolved.
Posted 29 Aug 2006

Microsoft's increasingly transparent and annoying bellow-radar marketer Major Nelson was the chosen outlet for the news that Microsoft and Capcom are launching a patch for Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting on Xbox Live Arcade.
According to Nelson's site, "...the title update will address connection and time out issues that have been reported by players. In addition, the Leaderboards will be cleared in order to offset players that have cheated by causing intentional disconnections."
The auto-update - available now - will be installed following a prompt by the host server and should bottom out what was a frustrating week for those who waited patiently for the belated release.
