Canis Canem Edit (Dog Eat Dog) is finally out on October 27th and SPOnG’s just received the latest teaser trailer from the beleaguered team at Rockstar.

The Rockstar guys have not had the greatest week this last week, having come under fire from both the British tabloid press as well as from Jack Thompson over in the Miami-Dade court.

However, we know, as they know, that once the game is on the shelves and once people start playing it, both Jack Thompson and the self-appointed moral guardians of the press will finally realise that Canis Canem Edit is little more than a highly enjoyable schoolyard caper involving no guns, drugs, sex or violence.

Of course, all the tabloids and Thompson have succeeded in doing is to raise the profile of this great game, so in that respect, one could argue that Rockstar should really by paying them a hefty PR consultancy fee.

Back to the opening scenes from the game. The new trailer (links below) shows the opening scene in the game in which Jimmy is unceremoniously dumped at Bullworth Academy by his floozy mother and uncaring new step-dad.

You will see Jimmy’s first impressions of his imposing new school, as well as his first run-ins with some of his new mates (watch your back there Jimmy!) as well as the poor little fat boy with the weak bladder who wees himself. Awww.
