To Lose A PlayStation 3…

Yes, that’s right, some ‘dewd’ in Northern California has posted pictures of an obviously not-entirely-his PlayStation 3, the unit sitting proudly on the sideboard at his home, to a website about Mustangs of the car variety.

Does anybody remember the ill-fated, Elmojesus and the unofficial Xbox 360 ‘preview? Well, think Elmojesus and add extra dumb. Where the young Elmo J claimed to be the stepson of a Microsoft employee – ‘issues’ anyone? – the PS3 purloiner, handled Hanniballs claims that, “Santa gave it to me”.

Formerly called, DementedGT, the poster slammed the pix of the PlayStation 3 onto the Mustang World forums but limited any further information to trading insults.

Speculation is now rife as to where the seeker of attention obtained his unit. While outright theft has been mentioned – and Mustang World has killed the thread – so have the following possibilities:

1) Hanniballs ‘borrowed’ the unit from a kiosk and ‘forgot’ to take it back.
2) Hanniballs is a Sony employee (or his stepmother is) and followed the path of elmojesus.
3) Hanniballs works at a games developer and could not resist the urge to brag his way out of a job or into chokey.

Whichever way you cut it, this is a marvellous piece of self-destruction. If only he’d read SPOnG’s preview, dear old Mustang World would not have had to panic, and Hanniballs would probably not being hunted down like a dog by the always protective Sony Corporation.
