Entire Wii Line-Up for Jan-March 07 Inside
Roll on Easter!
Posted 19 Dec 2006

Following the DS line-up for the first quarter of 2007 we brought you earlier today, SPOnG has also just received the full Wii line-up for the same period (Jan-March 07) for the UK from Nintendo.
Forget Christmas, it’s all about Easter now!
While we have enough to keep us all happy for the next few weeks with Zelda, Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz and Rayman Raving Rabbids and Marvel Ultimate Alliance (although we’ve only just received this) it’s certainly good to know there’s much more to come in the new year.
Leading the charge, thankfully, is king of the mini/party game Wario Ware: Smooth Moves from Nintendo itself. Following shortly behind is the ‘highly addictive’ (it says here) Kororinpa from Hudson, described as ‘an interactive marble maze where players must navigate to the exit by tilting and twisting the stages using their Wii Remote’ – sounds like having a ball or just monkeying around really.
Nintendo also unleashes Mario Party 8 and Excite Truck while SSX Blur lands from EA in March and Sonic and the Secret Rings sprints to the Wii, courtesy of Sega.
There’s loads more (see the full list below). Don’t forget the 36 Virtual Console titles to be made available by the end of 2006, with more being added to the range on a regular basis in 2007. And don’t forget that SPOnG will be keeping you updated weekly on what’s in store every Monday.
Enough already, here's the entire Wii line-up for the first quarter of 2007. Woohoo!:

The only thing that stands out of me is SonicTM and the Secret Rings. And because it's a Sonic game we know it's gunna be crap. I guess Smooth Moves could be interesting if you like that kind of thing.
It's a bit of a poor show really; just 2 good-sounding games in the 4 months after launch.

If I get a Wii it'll be for Mario, Metroid and Animal Crossing; looks like they're some way off yet... a pressie for next chrimbie hopefully!?
The rumours of using your Mii as your character in AC are rather trouser-tightening

I'm seriously getting warmed up for some flying games with Wii, and there are two in that list, bring it!
