Aloha! Busted For Emulating GTA
At least that’s according to the Honolulu Advertiser
Posted 20 Dec 2006

OK kids, here we go again with people being unable to make that fine distinction between real life and NOT real life. This time it comes to us from the glamorous, gorgeous island of Hawaii and concerns what the local paper calls ‘The Grand Theft Auto Gang’ (GTAG).
Homeless man, Nathan Branco, has been placed on probation for five years having pled guilty to four charges of car thievery. The Honolulu Advertiser reports that GTAG is, “…an active auto-theft ring whose members reportedly play out video-game scenarios, according to court records”.
Branco was arrested, “in the mangroves at McGrew Point” having first crashed a stolen car into two other vehicles on Pali Momi Street in Honolulu. SPOnG can’t recall exactly which bit of GTA this refers to.
But there’s more! Hawaiian cops have also arrested a “juvenile escapee from the Hawai'i Youth Correctional Facility who is also known to have ties to GTAG. The juvenile escaped in October and was arrested in the Halawa area on an anonymous tip.”
An anonymous tip? Nice friends.

'We are the PES! We are the PES! We are, we are, we are the PES!"
"We are FIFA! We are FIFA! No one likes us! We don't care!"
And so on... yes, gangs of virtual football ('socccccer') fans rampaging in the streets... I can see it.

Who wants to join my Mario gang? We jump on mushrooms/tortoises that we find in the street, and eat flowers. Then we go into the sewers to pick up money. Actually, that's rubbish - let's make a Monkey Island gang, I mean, crew.

"Well, no pirating means no swag, and no swag means no grog, and we're getting dangerously low on grog..."

everyone needs to seriously SHUT UP about G tag you guys really don't have any clue to what happened, G T A G is nothing close to the grand theft auto game. So everyone should ask questions before they open their mouths and make false accusations.
