The 360 version of Double Agent
Okay, okay, so you may be smarting a little (like Sony) from the news that Sega’s Virtua Fighter 5 is no longer set to be a PS3 exclusive next year but the Euro launch line-up for PS3 is beginning to take shape now, with Ubisoft confirming that Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent is set to be available on PS3 at launch next March.
The PS3 version is set to contain exclusive PS3 content and features, including new multiplayer maps and skins, plus, most interestingly, support for the sixaxis controller in both single player and multiplayer modes. Tilt-sneaking!
The rather boring corporo-quote comes from big bossman Yves Guillemot, CEO at Ubisoft, who says, “Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Double Agent is already a best-seller and has set a new standard for the Splinter Cell series. I am sure that Double Agent will prove to be a must-have title for PlayStation 3 system.”
SPOnG supposes that Mr. Guillemot is probably a bit tired like the rest of us and looking forward to a nice break.
