Konami Canning News Canned
‘New Adventure Game 2’ to go ahead after all
Posted 12 Jan 2007

The mighty Gradius
SPOnG reported yesterday on news that Konami had canned a number of next gen Wii and PS3 projects - including the hugely anticipated ‘New Adventure Game 2’!
Well, it seems that Weekly Famitsu got it wrong for a change and Konami is planning to go ahead with all those titles mentioned after all. This is pretty good news for fans of the Gradius Series – as that game will be given the PS3 treatment sometime very soon.
As well as Gradius – which you can also check out right now on the Wii’s Virtual Console – Konami will also bring us Jikkyou Powerful Pro Baseball as well as the hugely anticipated "New Action Game" and "New Role Playing Game" on PS3 and "New Action Adventure Game 2" and "Role Playing Game" on Wii.
Yes, we know. Sarcasm = Lowest form.
However, it’s not all good news as it's now confirmed that Coded Arms Assault for PS3 has been officially canned.

Good news then. Very unlike Famitsu to get it wrong but they are only human.
