So, we’ve already had new teaser art on Halo 3 and Half Life 2:Episode 2 earlier today. Let’s make it a glorious threesome, with this latest art from the PS3’s forthcoming mega-blockbuster from Square Enix, Fabula Nova Crystallis: Final Fantasy XIII which popped up on a Japanese website over the weekend.

Square Enix is still being coy about a confirmed release date for FFXIII, which SPOnG first saw unveiled at E3 last year.

Square-Enix is reportedly hoping to have a playable demo of their upcoming next generation title ready for the all-new slimmed down E3 this year. SPOnG should be bringing you further news on what other highlights we have to look forward to at E3 2007 in the coming weeks and months.

Two FFXIII projects are currently being simultaneously developed by Square Enix – Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII are two alternate titles featuring different characters, worlds and stories.

Both will be available on PS3 simultaneously, making up "the new tale of the crystal", which is the Latin translation of the ‘Fabula Nova Crystallis’ title.
