Chart News: Cut-Price EA Titles Back at Top
Need for Speed, FIFA, back of the net etc.

Back of the net! Again.
20 Feb 2007
It’s like the last three months never actually happened! That’s right EA’s FIFA 07 and Need for Speed: Carbon are back at the top of the UK videogame charts, at Numbers 1 and 2 respectively, due to some aggressive price-cutting at retail.
SPOnG’s favourite footy game of, well, for ever, Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer 6, is back up at Number 3, closely followed by THQ’s new entry with Supreme Commander at Number 4, whilst Mastertronic’s execrable marketing-led cash-in non-game Little Britain thankfully drops down to Number five.
Lower down the Top Ten THQ’s Avatar: The Legend of Aang, clambers up seven places to number 6, EA’s The Sims 2: Pets is at Number 7 and last weeks top dog, Eidos’ Battlestations: Midway drops seven places to Number 8.
Retro-lover’s Sega Mega Drive Collection is at Number 9 and Capcom’s rather marvellous Lost Planet is at Number 10.

With the exception of Supreme Commander and Battlestations:midway this is a travesty. FIFA games are the smae every year but with a different menu as are pro evolution soccer and need for speed. The sism 2 is just boring. Lost planet isnt that good and little Britain? Why the hell is that still there?
Come on public if your not going to buy any good new games buy a good old game.
