“The coin-op version of Pro Evolution Soccer has been specially created yet retains the series’ famed physics and gameplay. The e-AMUSEMENT process links machines all over Europe to one central server, and facilitates data saving and networked play between units,” Konami’s press release just in informs us.

What is also rather smart is the fact that you can also plug in your PS2 dual shock controller if you prefer that to the standard arcade joystick controls (see machine, pictured).

The first two-player machines of Pro Evolution Soccer Arcade Championship can now be found at popular studenty hang-outs, the Hollywood Bowl on the Finchley High Road, and at The Rocket venue on Euston Road. At last, two London-based football venues that we don’t have to wait for eons to be completed.
