BioShock Slips to August

Summer release increasingly unlikely for Irrational’s masterpiece

1 Mar 2007

News today from the developer indicates that the US release date for the PC and Xbox 360 versions of BioShock (Irrational’s ‘spiritual successor’ to System Shock 2), has been set as 21st August.

SPOnG spoke with BioShock publishers, 2K Games, in the UK earlier today, to discover that it still cannot as yet confirm if this is to be the release date in Europe.

However, the game has always been planned to have a simultaneous worldwide release, so there is really no reason to suspect otherwise, although we will bring you the confirmed Euro release date as soon as we get it.
