Not too many sparklingly good releases to bang on about today, we're sad to say. Though it doesn't really matter too much, as there is a new Sonic game on Wii out today, so that's clearly what you should be buying.

Though of course, Adam would argue that WarioWare: Smooth Moves also qualifies for a coveted Wii must-buy award. But that is mainly because he likes to think of himself as a real zany, party kinda guy. A bit like Keith Chegwin in the 1980s, before the booze got him and he lost it on Richard and Judy that time...

Anyways, go buy Sonic and the Secret Rings and stop moaning and whinging on about delays with the next batch of Nintendo first party stuff. We all knew it would be next Christmas before we got a taste of new-gen Mario or a look-in with 'the definitive' Metroid. Surely you didn't expect them any earlier!?

As Lou Reed so sagely advised us, "First thing you learn is that you always gotta wait..." Though to be fair he was talking about shooting dodgy amphetamines through a dirty needle into his arm, there: not about the exciting worlds of imaginary cartoon plumbers and killer lady-balls in space.
