Guitar Hero Wireless Release Date Confirmed
Are you listening Wiiers?
Posted 16 Mar 2007
Activision has given us the heads-up on the release date for Guitar Hero: Wireless Guitar, it’s March 30th – price is yet to be confirmed, but we’d say that £49.99 is a safe bet.
Remember though, that despite being both Guitar Hero and Guitar Hero II compatible the wire-free axe is only available for that old-gen dinosaur, the PlayStation 2 – remember that?
Of course you do, as it’s still selling like warm buns – and will continue to do so after the price cuts that are bound to follow the PS3 launch on March 23rd (that’s next week if you are reading this today; and last year if you’ve found this story using the SPOnG search engine, and it’s next year).
Fear not, Xbox 360 owners Guitar Hero 2: Bundle Pack because a date of April 6th has been confirmed so you can ‘rawk out’ – albeit in a very wired sense for now.
You Wii-boys at the back will have to make do with your cricket bats if you want to virtually emulate your favourite kick-ass rocker, (we had to when we were growing up, and it didn’t do us any bloody harm), although a version of GH is apparently on the cards sometime next year.
