Beautiful Katamari 360-Bound This Year
Namco Bandai ups Xbox support
Posted 20 Mar 2007

A good day for Xbox fans continues as rumours are flying around that three Namco Bandai titles – Beautiful Katamari, Warhammer: Mark of Chaos and Ace Combat 6 are to make their way over to the Xbox 360 later this year.
The source of the rumour is a leaked listing for all three titles on a Blockbuster release schedule.
SPOnG just spoke with a Namco Bandai PR rep in the UK who told us in no uncertain terms, “We cannot officially confirm these three titles and we do not comment on rumour and speculation.”
The Beautiful Katamari name was trademarked by Namco back in January. With Namco and Sony being such traditionally close development buddies - and with previous Katamari titles (Katamari Damacy and We Love Katamari for example) having previously been PS2 only, it is certainly a surprise to see that, if the rumours turn out to be true, the game is heading to Xbox 360 in October. (Yes, we know that, Me and My Katamari was PSP.)
Warhammer: Mark of Chaos is a PC port and Ace Combat 6 is, well, presumably the next in the series after Ace Combat 5.
