Xbox 360 Cops 'N' Robbers Ad Banned
Mollycoddling regulator goes a bit over the top

"We concluded that the ad glamourised street car racing and could be seen to condone dangerous driving," said an ASA statement.
This comes in spite of the prominent text over the ad which clearly reads, "Dramatisation. Professional stunt. Do not attempt."
The ban also begs the question – “what is the ad supposed to do?”
Make the viewer want to study the highway code? Encourage them to attend road safety classes?
The ASA statement also added that the advert, "reinforced the sense that the events were real, rather than fantasy, and were therefore capable of being copied."
Here it is. Make your own mind up. At least Microsoft gets a load of extra free publicity off the back of this spurious ban, which SPOnG is sure the company is more than happy about!

I agree, the government has gone out of control. They are assuming that everyone is going to start copying actions they see on TV. In which case, why don't they ban, all films with cars in it (e.g. Fast and the Furious, Gone in 60 Seconds etc. All TV series like The Bill, Eastenders, The Simpsons and so on and so forth)
All these and loads more portray scenes with cars being stolen, valdalised, and general crime being portryed in various different ways.
