Hitman Movie: Beautiful Girl Arouses Agent 47's Emotions - More Plot Here!
Agent 47 has a conscience!
Posted 25 Apr 2007

First details are seeping out of tinsel town on the new Hitman movie in the works over at Fox, with Deadwood star, Timothy Olyphant (pictured), as our favourite bald killer-for-hire.
Plotwise, Agent 47 gets caught up in some kind of a political takeover which involves him being pursued by the Russian military and Interpol.
The plot revolves around the stirrings of Agent 47’s conscience (yes! He has one!) and "the unfamiliar emotions aroused in him by a beautiful, damaged girl".
Hitman the movie should be out later this year. Let us know if you think Olyphant is the right choice? Or would Jason Statham – the baldie toughie from Transporter and Crank. – have been a better choice?
Let us know in the Forum below who YOU think should have played Agent 47?
(of course Statham would have been better!. Ed)

It'll be garbage - all of the fans were waiting for the studios to mention 'love interest' and that's it, nail in the coffin.
The game is an 18, it only concerns itself with violence and comedy (but only in the form of violence) - they'll make this into a 15 and give agent 47 a moral code and 'feelings'.
It could have been brilliant but they'll just end up trying to remake Leon (at best).

Hey, withhold judgement until you've seen it. We can say anything here, but we don't say this kind of thing about games before we play them do we?
Only time will tell how good it is. Give them a chance.

I dunno what Utopian internet you've been hanging out on but most places I've been are full of people saying what will and won't be good looong before it ever comes out.

You are all wrong. Mick Hucknall out of Simply Red is the sensible choice to play Agent 47
