New Gaming Beanbag Adds A Seventh Sense

SPOnG loves beanbags, so its with a smile and a fuzzy inner warmth that we welcome today’s news that some forward-thinking furniture company is actually making and marketing such a thing called a ‘SlouchPod’ gaming chair (pictured).
That’s right. It’s a space-age beanbag, kitted out with a big phat sub-woofer, speakers and loads of nobs and stuff to fiddle with. Merely plug in your handheld or console and slouch in glorious surround sound.
SPOnG should hopefully be testing one out in the coming week to check if it works or not. The last time we tried out such a thing was Pyramat’s ‘rocker’ style gaming chair, so it should be interesting to see if the SlouchPod matches that product for sound quality and comfort.
We’re also informed that “the SlouchPod Interactive XT creates a ‘Seventh Sense’ for gamers and MP3 fans.”
Wow! Not only is it a bean bag with nobs on, it also claims to somehow cybernetically augment our present set of five senses with, not even a sixth, but a SEVENTH sense. Watch out for that review!

Hey Rise - we actually have a meeting set up with these chaps next Friday. So, wait until then when we'll be "reviewing the furniture" (why does that sound like a double-entendre?)
