World In Conflict: Terrifying New Screens
The commies are on the march
Posted 4 May 2007

SPOnG has a natural, deeply ingrained and thoroughly wholesome fear of Communism. Because we're such right-minded capitalists, when these striking new screens from World in Conflict hit our inbox we squealed in terror like piglets in our local sarnie shop. Once the room had settled and various liquids removed from the carpet, we took a moment to admire the graphical quality that had instilled such fear in us and decided to share.
World in Conflict, if you didn't know, is a combat-strategy PC title being published by Vivendi and developed by Massive Studios, the folks behind the Ground Control series. It's set in a world where the Berlin Wall never fell. In fact, instead of pulling that ugly mass of concrete down, the Soviets decided to invade Europe and America instead.
If you want to know more, you can take a look at SPOnG's recent interview with Massive founder and president Martin Walfisz here.
