Teaser website launched

Activision is making a new movie-based game featuring everyone's favourite friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man.
The information comes courtesy of a just-launched teaser website. The new game will be titled Spider-Man: Friend or Foe and will be released this Autumn, although where it will be released then has not been revealed.
Activision's keeping its cards close to its chest. All that's given away in terms of content is the phrase, “A new twist on the legend, a new take on the movies.” The original Green Goblin appears (looking like a demented infant) in the website's loading sequence. With that in mind, SPOnG reckons that the game could be set in the wall crawler's early career, although the Goblin's returned from the grave in the comics so a resurrection's not out of the question in the new game.
Beyond that, Activision's not even saying what platform(s) the game will be released on. SPOnG's pretty sure that information will be forthcoming shortly however. You can see from the gazillion trailers on SPOnG's Spider-Man 3 page that Activision isn't shy about pimping its Spidey games. With the record-breaking weekend Spider-Man 3 just had at the US box office it's not likely to be reversing that trend any time soon.
The website bares the legend “Full site coming soon,” so keep your eyes on SPOnG for more details as they emerge.

Judging by the name I'd predict a knights of the republic rip off, where you decided whether to make spidey a good guy or a bad guy.

Knights is probably the worst example of something that was ripped off. Think maybe Fallout, Wasteland, hell any D and D game had alignments and lawfulness. Ultima also a better example. If anything Knights was ripping off all other games to create some mish mash hybrid and make money off of it. I just find Knights overrated, that's partly why I think you could of used a better example.
