New Haze Videos: In Game Video Right Here!

Shadowy corporation infiltrates SPOnG

Non-ravers need not apply. Seriously.

SPOnG loves a good first-person shooter, and the the in-game footage for Haze (below) is turning us into adoration-bemused teenagers. Take a look.

What we're also really keen on is a good plot - in fact, given the sheer number of first-person shooters doing the rounds all the time, a great plot is absolutely essential to raise a game up from simplistic "bang-bang, you're dead" to something to return to. Haze, with its Mantel mega-corp, super-drug Nectar addiction and your actual engaging characters would appear to have all barrels loaded.

Want to play the game now? Good. Before you go overboard, however, look at this next teaser. Below we see the Mantel Corporation leaving the confines of Haze to make us fear for our children.

This isn't the first time Mantel has found its way out of Haze and into the real world. Back in April a mysterious website cropped up, drawing us inexorably into Ubisoft's web of viral marketing.

Ubisoft's upped the ante in its promotion of Haze over the course of its Ubidays press event. As well as giving assembled journos a demo of the game, the publisher also deposited a fresh batch of screens and artwork in our inbox yesterday.
