Hogwarts: an ordinance survey nightmare
Electronic Arts 's really ramping up its PR machine for the upcoming summer blockbuster, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and SPOnG has the latest development video to prove it.
Today the game's development team talk us through the creation of Hogwarts. In particular, art director Kelvin Tuite discusses the unenviable task of creating the castle's maps. SPOnG would like to remind you that the castle features moving staircases, a feature not known for making map-making easy.
Just last week EA took us through the creation of the game's creepy soundtrack, leaving SPOnG to fear for the scarred youngster's mental health.
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is due out on just about every platform you can shake unicorn-hair-threaded-wand at from June 29th. For more on the game visit SPOnG's dedicated page.
