At one point some of the older SPOnGers were hoping that BioShock would be the gaming equivalent to Man from Atlantis, the tragically short-lived '70s sci-fi series about a happy-go-lucky chap who could breathe underwater. The more we see of 2K Game's creepy underwater shooter, however, the more those hopes are quashed.

In fact, when we heard one of the developers in this video tell of the spooky little girls who wander around the city of Rapture with syringes looking to extract fluid from corpses, SPOnG got a little bit of sick in its mouth. Also, in light of Take 2's apparent inability to release Manhunt 2 thanks to its mature content, the girls prompted SPOnG's resident Aussie to exclaim, "Blimey! What rating are they going to give BioShock!? Crikey!"
