Dude you are wrong, there's good stuff in there. Scarface is a good game. Mortal Kombat is good but you should use a classic controller/GC with it. Paper Mario is superb and gets looked over a lot. RE4 is gonna be better and cheaper to buy anyway but it's up to you I guess. Then there's those Robots In Disguise which also look groovy. Alien Syndrome and Dragon Blade look good too.
DS there's MBT, EBA, Puzzle League, Jam Sessions, Heroes of Mana and Sonic Rush 2.
Dude, if you like Trauma Center DS, check out Lifesigns Surgical Unit (the english version of jap game Tendo Dokuta) on DS.It's out stateside and due here soon, I think.

Dude, you are wrong, there's stuff in there that you like. RIPRAW said "another bunch of Wii games I don't want to buy" - he's entitled to his opinion.

IGN keep on saying that this is out in Europe already, with it coming to the US in a few months. If it is out, here, the publisher really should be doing some advertising, because I've heard nowt about it.

Well IGN's got it wrong again. From what I can gather it's due out on the 26th June.

According to my sources, Life Signs came out on May 15th in the U.S.
Follow the link and search for it at a handsome import price.

I know I'm getting one.
With regard to the Wii games not appeal to what's his name, that's why I have a 360, as that has more down to earth games meaty games. Up to you what you buy, lad.

Yeah, I bought one a month ago for that very reason. That's no reason there shouldn't be any meaty games on the wii though. I didn't expect to have to buy another console so soon.
I willl look a bit more into Scarface, thanks for the suggestion. Will wait and see if any of the other games you mention turn out to be any good. I'm not completely dismissing Nintendo's Summer lineup. I just don't hold much hope.
I guess it comes down to the fact that very few 3rd parties wanted to risk developing major games for the Wii, and now they all realise their mistake with the Wii's success. Just wish Nintendo had sped things up on their side. I thought several major 1st/2nd party games would be spread throughout 2007. Now I'm just hoping 1 or 2 make it this side of Christmas.

Wow third party pissin all over the Wii with cheap titles and minigames making a quick buck rather than invest some effort.
Nothing on that list intersts me trauma center did when it was released 7 months ago in the states but not now, Where is metroid, August for the states but nothing for europe not even in October, I Guess it's Jan or Feb.
Get your house in order NOE or It's mod chips for me, I'm tired of waiting.

It seems the further into Wii's lifespan we get, the more and more people are starting get frustrated with the systems lack of innovation in terms of software support. It's interesting to see that pepole are pointing that frustration directly at 3rd party developers. Now I'll be the first in line to say that most 3rd party deveopers are merely shoveling out mediorce code as fast as possible to make a quick buck - but do you really think that EVERY SINGLE 3rd party developer has taken that approach? Doubtful. Some would have genuinely tried to make the most of the new innovations that the system is supposed to enable, and as you can see by whats available, it's crud.
Now for some reason people seem to think Nintendo can do no wrong - but holding back cube Zelda, throwing in some wii controls and releasing it on Wii; same with Paper Mario and well Mario Party 8 is quick frankly crap...is hardly doing everything right so I don't see how they still come out of this smelling like roses?
If people get fun out of the system thats awesome - I'm happy as a pig in s**t for them. But I think it's time people stopped blindly worshiping Nintendo (for their own sake - Nintendo won't change while you're lapping this up) and realise that the Wii just might be a slightly gimped console not able to deliver much beyond the the shallow experience it's been delivering thus far. All I'm hearing is 'I'm holding out for Metroid and Mario Galaxy!'...but what if they too suffer from rudimentary controls and lack the fundamental depth that we've come to love from Nintendo of old? I really hope that these are 2 of the greatest games ever, but I'm more than a little dubious.
I didn't intend to stir the pot here (although I undoubtfully have), I'm just genuinely intrigued by this scenario.

I don't agree with either of your comments! I currently own a Wii and, even though it doesn't have the extensive library of my 360, it still rocks! I currently have 12 Wii games, 10 GC games, and 9 VC console games for it! The fact of the matter is that there are PLENTY of great games for the Wii, just not the big name franchises yet. Zelda:TP is VERY immersive and fun (don't quarrel over it being an upgraded GC title because the Wii controls are FANTASTIC). Trauma Center works wonderfully on the Wii, I enjoy it more on the Wii than my DS. And the wii has plenty of other fun, immersive titles. Here are my games if you want to check them out later:
Wii Sports
Wii Play
The Legend of Zelda: TP
Redsteel
Excite Truck
Sonic and the Secret Rings
Trauma Center: Second Opinion
Kororinpa: Marble Mania
Super Paper Mario
Madden 07
Heatseeker
Mortal Kombat Armageddon

Where are the A games on this console? There are none so far (bar Zelda which is really a gc came). I usually buy lots of games for a new console, but this year I have only bought one - Wario Ware.
I've started to find all these "mini game" games a bit tedious. I don't have mates round every night! Give me something to play in the meantime Nintendo! Preferabably Mario Galaxy or Metroid.
