Gamecock has been fairly quiet about its upcoming MMO, Fury, thus far. With the first phase of closed beta testing due to start on Friday, however, it's released the video below to peak our interest.

Gamecock's keen to point out that this isn't your two-minutes-older-than-you twin brother's MMO. It tells us, “Gone are the days of level grinding and countless hours spent wandering the barren terrain of your typical 'MMO.' Fury is a fast-paced, online, player-versus-player game that blends the speed and excitement of a first-person-shooter with familiar MMORPG combat and character advancement.”

Whether Fury will succeed in earning the description 'genre-busting' remains to be seen. This video, however, certainly can't be called 'plodding'.
