Splinter Cell: Conviction Gets Groove Addiction
Soundtrack composers announced

16 Jul 2007
Groove Addicts, the music house behind Deal or No Deal's soundtrack, is going to provide the soundtrack for Ubisoft's Splinter Cell: Conviction.
Yes, that's what we thought.
More specifically, composers Kaveh Cohen and Michael Nielsen will bring what we're told is their "unique brand of orchestral-electronic fusion" to the score.
Needless to say, Ubisoft Montreal’s Technical & Artistic Director of Audio, Simon Pressey, is pretty happy about it. “It's the most definitive music I have heard to date for the series. I would go so far to call it 'classic Splinter Cell'”, he said.

Head of Groove Addiction's Business Development team, Michael Zarin, returned the compliment, saying, "We are ecstatic to be involved with this incredible Ubisoft AAA franchise. The fact that this is our first game says a lot about the caliber (sic) of music we at Groove Addicts work so very hard to deliver everyday. Michael Nielsen and Kaveh Cohen have a rare knack to consistently create great music in a timely manner, with our clients’ vision in mind.”
SPOnG just hopes that Groove Addicts will be able to recreate the sense of excitement SPOnG feels as we sit at home, alone in the wee hours of the morning (dressed only in a dressing gown, we would add) watching the credits roll on the US version of Deal or No Deal.
