Rockstar tells us that Canis Canem Edit (or ‘Bully’ as we still call it) is headed to Xbox 360 and Wii later this year, with Bully: Scholarship Edition!

Let's just hope that this version of the game makes it to market without all the nonsensical controversy that accompanied the first version of the game on PS2 late last year.

SPOnG looks forward to checking out the game at Rockstar London in the near future and we are particularly keen to learn about the ‘additional new content’ promised, as well as seeing what Bully looks like with a next gen sheen.

This adds to a busy period for the company, what with its violent disagreement with the State censor over the Manhunt 2 ban, the latest rounds of demos of GTA IV; and announcing Table Tennis for Wii.

Check out SPOnG’s full review of Canis Canem Edit right here.

How bizarre? After the Table Tennis going to Wii, my thoughts drifted to what else they might do. They did say a while ago they be doing stuff for Wii, but nothing much was heard until Table Tennis.

CCE/Bully is a good game I missed on PS2, so I'll gladly invest in a new version. I hope its enough for them to work on a proper sequel and build on the series. But is this more or less damage limitation, until Manhunt 2 returns or good business moves?

Could CCE sell well in japan on Wii? Next to Table Tennis, I don't see why not. Can't wait to see those Famitsu scores for both Wii games.

360 one will be sweet for points. Will they be using the GTA engine though, or just a straight port to both?

Rockstar betting on the Wii60 train confirmed!
GTA4 coming out on the PS3 can now be seen as a mere gesture of courtesy (and the fact MS payed for the development of all the GTA4 versions).

If I had the money, I'd bet it there too. This xmas is gonna be so good. Mario Galaxy and Mass Effect, Metroid and Assasin Creed. Having both a Wii and 360 is safe gaming bet for fun.

PS3....well do that if you can afford it.
