No excuse now. Just play it.

Well now you have no excuse, as 2K Games has just released a playable demo of The Darkness for PS3 and Xbox 360 via the PSN store and Xbox Live Marketplace, which weighs in at a whopping 1.44GB
The only excuse you now have for not having played The Darkness is being too skint to own a shiny black PlayStation 3 or perhaps owning a lovely matt beige Xbox 360 that has been bricked with the dreaded three red rings of death.
The full PS3 version of The Darkness is finally in stores today, though if you have yet to splash out on a PlayStation 3 then you may well want to hold back for a month or two, as recent rumours suggest that a pre-Xmas price cut is imminent.
