Boogie: Poptastic New Screens
It's a veritable wonderland

Ever since SPOnG took a look at Boogie, there have been daggers shooting across the office. There's many a washed-up pop star passing his (or her) days in the drab luxury of our northern offices (and when we say 'washed-up', we mean 'never made it out of the local working men's club'). Sure, some of them pretend they were in rock bands and like to have a twiddle on Guitar Hero II from time to time, but in reality there's much bitterness that Wakefield's answer to Take That never took off. When we saw the Pop Idol-esque career mode in action, we knew that it will only be a matter of time (until August 31st, to be exact) before certain SPOnGers take to the mic in a pop duel.
Needless to say, this is being written from the safety of 'under the desk'. The tension's rising. It's not long before Wakefield explodes in a non-stop grizzly aural barrage of wailing cheese. Enjoy these screens while you can, then head over to SPOnG's dedicated Boogie game page for more.
