It's amazing the things you can pick up on when attending launches in Birmingham... this fine Friday sees the release date for Call of Duty 4: Modern Combat enter the public domain via slip of the tongue at just such a Brummie event from a senior brand manager at Activision who shall remain nameless.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Combat is out on the 9th November on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. There. Now you know.
“We can’t confirm or deny this, we can only say that Call of Duty 4 is out this coming Winter,” an Activision PR rep just told us, “however, it certainly shows that there is a lot of anticipation surrounding this release, which is clearly good for us,” they added.
Watch out for lots more on Call of Duty 4: Modern Combat and all of Activision's forthcoming titles from Leipzig later this month, which kicks off on August 22.
