PSP firmware version 3.70 has just been released in Japan bringing custom themes to your PSP and some more rather cool new features.
You can grab the update from the Japanese PSP website right here.
Update 3.70 also enables you to search through scenes while watching a movie; assign buttons in remote play and gives you the ability to look at photos while listening to music at the same time.
Watch out for the latest news on the forthcoming slimmer, lighter PSP very soon.

For all the flack i give Sony & PSP, i'm currently playing Dead head fred on it & i kind of forgot (because i havent picked it up 4 about 6 months) what an awesome console the PSP is, but like all things Sony, it could have been sooo much better, it'll be a real shame if it sink, but if that does happen it'll be the serious kick in the arse that Sony really needs.
