A demo of Konami's upcoming footy extravaganza - Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 - is available to download on Xbox Live now.

The download's a hefty 1.18GB, but... well, it's worth it, isn't it? The fact that got SPOnG evilly rubbing its hands together, however, is that (for once) the demo's available in Europe and not North America and Asia. It might have something to do with the fact that our gaming brethren in America couldn't give a monkey's todger about a PES demo, but we're pleased as punch nonetheless.

SPOnG has the demo downloading now, and certain PES fanboys in the office are salivating to see how it shapes up against FIFA 08, which we recently previewed.

For more on PES 2008 visit SPOnG's dedicated game page.
