Nintendo has confirmed the first Neo Geo titles set for release on its Virtual Console service on the Wii, with a trio of titles boasting fighty-fighty goodness on the way.
It first became apparent that the Wii would see some Neo Geo releases to bolster its Virtual Console service back in April, although at the time we were told, "As far as the date, we're looking to start releasing games around mid-summer of this year." Although Tendy's failed to deliver on "mid-summer", SPOnG's pleased to see a bit of movement on the deal.
Fatal Fury - Neo Geo developer, SNK's, first attempt at a beat-'em-up from way back in 1991 - is first up. It will be followed by two titles from the following year: World Heroes and one of SPOnG's most fondly remembered excuses to wale on your mates, Art of Fighting.
Neo Geo games are set to carry a 900 Wii Point price tag, but no release dates have been confirmed as yet.

Art of Fighting, how that takes me back. Great days, great games.
I just hope Sega push some Saturn games on WVC too.
