Team Fortress 2: Zany New Screens
Valve gets us all loved up
Posted 9 Oct 2007

Fun with bazookas. That's right, they're fun.
SPOnG loves a bit of teamwork. Oh yes, we surely do. Which is why, when these latest screens from Team Fortress 2 cropped up in our inbox, we decided to share.
Sure, we might routinely spit bile at each other here in the new SPOnG Underwater Castle. Discussions about who's turn it is to go out for coffee might often turn into fisticuffs that narrowly avoid the destruction of our PS3. We might even be inclined to slyly nab a few bob from each others wallets when there's an altercation about who's round it is... But we anticipate at least several minutes of beatific harmony when we sit down to join forces and shoot up other gamers in Valve's TF2.
The good news is that the wait will soon be over, with the Orange Box - which includes TF2, Half Life 2: Episode 2 and Portal - set to be available for download as of tomorrow. More traditional gamers who want to support their local games retailer will be able to grab the PC and 360 versions as of October 19th.
In the meantime, you might want to read SPOnG's interview with Valve's marketing director, Doug Lombardi, here.
