Sony has made a stack of PlayStation 3s made entirely out of chocolate. Check out the pictures right here if you don’t believe us.

The 150 chocolate PS3s were made for the Eurochocolate event in Perugia, Italy recently, along with the oversized chocolate SIXAXIS controller you can see right below this news.

We’re not entirely sure of the thinking behind this one – although it will certainly provide 360 and Wii fanboys plenty of cheap ‘useful as a chocolate PS3’ jokes for a couple of days on the internet.

Eurochocolate sounds good though - an annual nine-day event celebrating chocolate – perhaps we could persuade the organiser of the annual Leipzig Games Conference to relocate to Perugia to hold its event in tandem with this massive choc-fest?!

It was not clear whether or not the chocolate PS3s were the recently unveiled slimmed-down 40GB model or not.
