In case you're unaware, the PS3 version comes replete with support for SingStore (iTunes for Singstar apparently) and MySingStore Online - a community 'space'.
Sony will be promoting the title via dedicated ‘Singstar Studio’ pods at the 02 arena in London and in other ways that includes a social networking site beloved of a former Australian media mogul who already gets enough publicity.
SPOnG carried out a short survey last night of random straight men at Birmingham's Omega Sektor gaming centre - as we were being asked by some girls if we wanted to play Singstar. None of those present admitted to ever having played any Singstar game before.
Sounds a tad on the repressed side to SPOnG - there's lots of fun to be had in singing along to The Scissor Sisters and Britney... time for the industry to bloody well lighten up. Bitches.

From Sony PR - 'Yes you can use PS2 mics with SingStar PS3. There will be a bundle with mics for £44.99 and a disc version only for £24.99.'

I'm straight, so I'll buy Rock Band instead.

Sweet can't go wrong for £24.99, but I want all games downloadable now - I play so much warhawk jus because I know that I don't have to find a disk and slot it in the machine, so much easier just having an icon in the game XMB.
