Here in the SPOnG underwater castle it's pretty bloody miserable. The underwater weather outside is sick and foul and the resident Australian is whingeing. We've been torn away from Super Mario Galaxy for three, four and five. Suffice to say, the mood has been in need of a good lift.

Thank gods that SEGA's on-hand with a new NiGHTS trailer then. There's little in this life that perks us up like watching the fevered imaginings of Sonic Team's who-knows-what influenced NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams cruising around our screens. This time the team's showing off a spot of rocket travel and a dash of underwater cavorting, as well as the sinister Bombassa boss who makes an appearance in the new screens below.
