Or in other words - the one from last year's older, bigger, uglier model

If you have left your old PSP for this year’s newer, slimmer and more attractive PSP model you will be pleased to hear that Sony is bringing back the one BETTER thing about the big, bulky uglier old model – specifically, the big, bulky long-life battery.
You may well already be using the big fat old battery in your new slim PSP, although the problem with this home-made solution is pretty obvious. The cover doesn’t fit, which means the battery sticks out. Which looks awful.
Hence, Sony is releasing this, the PSP Extended Life Battery Kit, which is basically a bundled pack including the old PSP's battery and two special covers, one black and one silver, for your new PSP.
SCEA will be releasing the PSP Extended Life Battery Kit in mid-December for $45. No word as yet from SCEE as to when we can expect to see it in Europe.

So it becomes "PSP Slim & Lite with a Big Fat Belly". What a shame.
