Batter Up On Nintendo's Virtual Console
Baseball Stars II and Dynastic Hero hit the Wii

30 Nov 2007
Nintendo wants you to get all sporty with the American, more macho version of cricket. Baseball Stars II is leading the charge on to Virtual Console this week, with The Dynastic Hero following it up to bat.
Baseball Stars II first made its way into the world via the Neo Geo back in 1992. Players get to choose from 12 teams across the (brilliantly named) Exciting League and Fighting League as they wield their bat. Nintendo's promising "bold characters, uplifting music and realistic sound effects" in this brash baseball sim. It can be yours for 900 Wii Points.
Also up for grabs is the anime-styled adventure title, The Dynastic Hero. This version originally saw light of day back in 1994 on the TurboDuo and is essentially a re-branding of Wonder Boy in Monster World, which VC regulars might have picked up back in May. You can have it for 800 Wii Points.
The running total for Virtual Console is now 169, if you're keeping count.
