Rev your engines! Put the pedal to the metal! Other driving clichés! A demo of Electronic Arts' Burnout Paradise is up for grabs now.

The demo is up (predictably) on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Store.

Motor City, Big Surf Beach and Ocean View are all up for grabs as you blast around in search of the fastest 'Burnout Route' in the Hunter Cavalry car. If you feel a bit fancy, you can also try your hand at the new 'Stunt Run' mode.

There's also a taste of the game's online multi-player on offer. EA tells us, "Once online, players can work cooperatively to complete three FreeBurn challenges or simply smash each other up and grab their Burnout Mugshots with the PlayStation Eye and Xbox Live Vision cameras."

What are you waiting for? Go throttle your engine, or some such thing.

I don't see it on the PlayStation Store. What's the story? I'm always up for a bit of Burnout.

Its on the PSN.

Well I played it on the 360 and well...Its f**king Need For Speed basically! And its just all f**ked up, you got wait for it...Garages that replenish your boost!! I couldnt even see a speed counter in the demo!

Its like NFS Underground - you can go where ever basically and looks like no more crash behind traffic either.

Overall well done to EA for f**king up yet another half decent franchise they have mixed up all the racing of NFS and Burnout and f**ked up on both franchises.

Utter bastards!

It's worth pointing out that if you're on Silver membership on Xbox Live, (like I am) you can't download it yet. :(
