UbiSoft Confirms Far Cry 2 Multi-Platform
But will it be out this year?

Having pushed its Africa-based first-person shooter (FPS) into 2008 (crikey, that's this year!), Ubisoft now informs us that Far Cry 2 will be seeing the light of day on more than the PC.

"Ubisoft announced that Far Cry® 2 is being developed for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and the PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system. Far Cry 2 is a next-generation first-person shooter being created by Ubisoft’s Montreal development studio."
So, there you go then. Confirmed. Bet you can't wait. But you will have to because we're also told:
"Far Cry 2 is scheduled to ship fiscal 2008–2009."
So, even further away than this year. Bugger!
