Platform holder apologises

In time honoured fashion, first the good news.
Microsoft has messed up the release of the Beautiful Katamari demo we told you about yesterday and Xbox Live Silver members are feeling the benefit.
The bad news? It's not yet available to Gold members.
Microsoft Europe's community manager, Graeme Boyd, has explained and apologised for the mistake on his blog, saying:
"There's a Beautiful Katamari demo available on marketplace now, but there's been a wee mistake somewhere along the line and at the moment it's only available for Silver members. It'll be fixed soon though, at which point it'll only be available to Gold members for the next week - and then open for everyone.
"Hold tight Gold members, and if you're a Silver member and you fancy rolling around in one of the funniest and most surreal gaming experiences ever, get your skates on."

SPOnG recommends you take his advice. If you're a Silver subscriber and you don't get the demo now, you'll be waiting until February 6th.
Apologising for Xbox Live seems to be a recurring theme for Microsoft this month. Earlier on it had to apologise for the erratic connectivity of the service over the holidays in the form of a free game. Still, SPOnG doesn't suppose that Silver subscribers are complaining too much about this cock up.

"I just dont see what the game is all about, well it appears that you just go around picking up random stuff" etc
Christ almighty, what a thickhead. What an utter, utter imbecile.
Congrats to 360, though, in getting a tarted up PS2 game way, way later. Kudos to Namco Bandai though for almost breaking SuperSaiyan4's tiny little brain. Better luck next time.

In no way, ever, was this going to be an `Xbox` game. Ever. It's bright, cheerful, surreal and oozes character. It should have been on Wii and PS3, as Xbot SuperSaiyan amply demonstrates with his head-scratching and fire-button searching.

I've just come up with a brilliant conspiracy theory, regarding SuperS***an4. Could it be that he/she is infact a Sony Plant, sent onto these very forums, to make Xbox fanboys look like complete tools. If it is true, he's succeeding. Keep up the good work.

Graphically the game is very poor, quality of the characters and on screen environments are very very simple to sell this game at the full rate of £39.99 would be a complete rip off.
Surely they could have done much better.
