Make Some Noise For Turok!
Behind the scenes video inside
Posted 1 Feb 2008

Disney Interactive is pushing Turok pretty hard in the run up to its release next week - the company seems determined to let us know that it's not just about cuddly stuff. Today is no different. Disney has released a behind the scenes look at the game's audio component.
Now, SPOnG likes good audio as much as anyone, but it's not something we particularly felt we need to see behind the scenes of. It turns out we were wrong. These audio guys are a bit nuts. Remember that annoying kid who sat at the back of the class in school making uncanny but horrendously irritating noises? Well, he works for Disney Interactive now, deciding what dinosaurs sound like.

the demo was disappointingly bob, i wanted it to be good as i loved 1 and 2 on the 64 despite their blatant flaws, but i dont know how this can turn out to be good after that demo..

The one that was on the Xbox was kind of a "sleeper" hit among my friends...one of us had bought when it came out, but it wasn't until the post-Halo, pre-LIVE! drought of games (perhaps even later) that one of us actually busted it out and found that it was a quite enjoyable romp. But then mebbe it was just the headshots with the bow...I dunno, I just know we all came to a consensus that it was jolly fun, and we wished we'd played it sooner.
I hope the new one is enjoyable....

This new one is absolute crap beyond belief, try the demo and you will see what I mean.
