Xbox 360 Elite Laptop is Finished
You have got to love the passionate gamer
Posted 5 Feb 2008

There are some events that are simultaneously causes for much celebration and despair. The fact that Ben Heck has announced the completion of his Halo themed Xbox 360 Elite laptop is both.
Pictured to the right, Heck's achievement (pun intended) is to have packed the following into a laptop case, enabling gamers (well, a gamer) to play while on the bus, plane or even while at the movies having been forced there to watch some nonsense:
A 120 gig Elite hard drive.
HDMI-to-DVI video connection for digitial picture on the LCD (versus VGA on past mods)
An Xbox with the new 65nm processor die.
That is much call for "Hoorah".
Sadly, however, there is also cause for "Noooo!" This derives from the fact that Ben notes: "Though I am tired of Xbox 360 laptops I am always up for other design consultation or custom jobs - email me."
You can see more of the man's fine work over at this own site, located here.
