EA Apologises For Aussie Medal of Honour Online Mix-up
Refunds on the way for disgruntled gamers
Posted 11 Feb 2008

Electronic Arts has apologised for the confusion surrounding the omission of online multiplayer in Medal of Honor Heroes 2 for the Wii in Australia.
Baffled gamers who bought the game expecting online functionality supporting 32 players will be given a refund. An official statement reads, "Medal of Honor Heroes 2 for Wii does not support online functionality in Australia. We made an error in the documentation and marketing materials. We are very sorry to have caused confusion for our customers. We will provide a refund to anyone in Australia who wishes to return the game to EA because of the lack of online functionality."
Both the European and American versions of the game support multiplayer, but when the game went on sale down under last week, the mode had inexplicably been left out.
The reason for the mode's omission remains a mystery, with EA having declined to comment.
