Trailer: Three Minutes of Street Fighter IV Fury

New video inside!

28 Feb 2008

Capcom has unleashed more Street Fighter IV fury on the world in the form of the video below. Down at the bottom of this very page you'll see the Street Fighter IV crew going at it like a million monkeys versus Shakespeare courtesy of some in-game footage.

We're up to the fourth Street Fighter game now, with more franchise extenders than SPOnG could count on the limbs of a mutant octopus*. With all that history behind them, SPOnG has to wonder, couldn't they have sorted out their differences by now? How many times does Ryu have to punch Blanka in the brains before they decide to sit down and sort it out over a nice cup of tea?

The same applies to Grand Theft Auto (a hands-on of which will be with you later today). What about solving the social problems in Liberty City, eh?

While the answers to those questions (what about Turok simply moving to a dino-free area?) eludes us, you will be able to find other Street Fighter IV information, screens and videos over on SPOnG's dedicated game page.

* That's a mutant octopus with several more than eight tentacles, not a mutant octopus with one tentacle, because that would simply be an underwater snake with a big head.

According to all my sources I hear its a hot game. You worried guys are worrying too much. Just be glad we are getting 2 Street Fighter games at all. Capcom cpould easily commit those resources to other games.

I love 3rd Strike too, but that's the past now.
