Assassin's Creed On PC and DS Slips (Again)
Rainbow Six Vegas 2 on PC joins it

12 Mar 2008
PC and DS gamers will have to wait another couple of weeks to see Assassin's Creed on their platforms.
The latest release schedule from Ubisoft reveals that Assassin's Creed on the PC and the DS version, Altair's Chronicles, are both now slotted in for April 11th - two weeks after the previously announced date of March 28th. This isn't the first time the two releases have slipped. Before they were dated as March 28th, they were due for release in February.
Rubbing salt into the wound for PC gamers, the schedule also shows that the PC version of Rainbow Six Vegas 2 has slipped. Like the PC and DS versions of Assassin's Creed, the game was meant to ship on March 28th for the PC but will now be released on April 11th.
It may be that the releases have been pushed back into April so they fall into fiscal 2008-2009, but no explanation has been given by Ubisoft as yet.
