While some members of the Capcom family appear to think think that Sony is unable to provide online betas for games, Konami is clearly of a different persuasion. In fact, it carries so much conviction that Sony can offer just such a thing that it has a Metal Gear Online beta planned for next month.

A Konami press release told us of the Metal Gear Solid 4 advance order pack, "This pre-order package also contains an insert with a download code and special instructions for accessing the Metal Gear Online beta test when it goes live in late April."

The Home beta, although not technically a game, also casts some doubt on Capcom's claim that Sony can't support a beta for Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix.

SPOnG has contacted Capcom for comment on its forum-generated statements, but none was available at the time of press.
