Gran Turismo 5 Still a Year Away
Sad eyes!

26 Mar 2008
Still sat on the fence about whether to shell out for Gran Turismo 5 Prologue or just wait for the full game? Well, Chris Hinojosa-Miranda, an Associate Producer for Sony Computer Entertainment America might help make up your mind - he tells the world that the full game is still a year away.
In a posting over on PlayStation Blog, Hinojosa-Miranda confirms:
"Also, to further clarify, GT5 is still about a year away. You should just decide now to buy it, enjoy it, go online and race against anyone and everyone, rank number one worldwide, get the girl (or guy) and become the most popular kid in town. The end."
If you're in two minds about whether to even bother with GT5 at all, let SPOnG's review of Prologue inform your decision.

If you kind of want it but don't want to spend £24.99 on the standalone game, you could always go for the GT5 Prologue hardware bundle. Not recommended if you already own a PS3, however...

Damn still a year a way?? Ouch. I still dont think it will ever be as technical as Forza and with the what you can do online when you log into Forza.com etc.
Although the game looks very lush graphically I hope the extra year means they will actually make it as technical as Forza as well at the same time keeping the amazing visuals as the visuals in Forza 2 are terrible.
