Street Fighter IV in Mexican Madness

New screens. Come get 'em...

8 Apr 2008

Capcom has forced SPOnG to take a break from our fascination with Chun Li's thighs. More specifically, it has dished up some fresh screens featuring one of the Street Fighter IV noobs - El Fuerte ("The Fort"). His thighs just don't hold the same appeal, somehow...

So, this is El Fuerte. He's a master of lucha libre ("Free Fight" or Mexican wrestling). Frankly, SPOnG's not altogether convinced that Street Fighter IV needed one. It's probably Jack Black's fault thanks to his part in Nacho Libre. Or it could be a political nod to the likes of Mexican fighters such a Super Barrio (he fights for the poor) or Super Gay (he fights for the gay).

Yes, we know, it's Jack Black's fault.

Anyway, you can see a smattering of the screens below, then turn to SPOnG's dedicated Street Fighter IV game page for the rest.

Your article needs correction. "Fuerte" in this sense does not mean "fort", it means "strong". Various web checks can confiorm this. Just thought you might want to know that. Thanks.
